family swim

I did get up this morning and go swimming at 8am. Had Derrel drop off Jonathan at the pool at 8:30 on his way into work and Jonathan sat there and watched me swim. He now wants to go with me tomorrow morning to my water exercise class. He said it looked fun. So tomorrow Jonathan is going to go with me. Now if I can just get my hubby Derrel to join me it would be good for all of us. Jonathan will be going back to school soon (yeah) so this is just a treat to him. I just about lost my swim suit today in the pool. We do jumping jacks and jump in and out of the water and my suit was falling in the front. So I'm happy to say that I've grown out of my swim suit. A couple of months ago we went to Costco and I bought one of the suits there because I knew by winter I would need a new one and living in Oregon I would not find one after the summer months had past. So I bought one at Costco and got size 12 since I knew my one at home was a 18. They do have a lot of stretch to them. Being forced to see if the one in the closet fit as I don't need to show my water aerobics teacher my boobs, I tried on the size 12. It fits fine, so now I don't have to worry while jumping anymore. :) I'm pretty much wearing a size 16-18 pants and large tops now, and a lot of the 18 are WAY to big. It just depends on the brand. My extra stack of pants are shrinking and all way to big. I had lots of size 20 and 18 in my closest but now I'm running out of clothes. That's ok, I know where the Goodwill is until I'm done shrinking.

I'm just about to the point of being a smaller size then I have been in many, many years. I mean I feel very lucky, happy, thankful, (all kinds sorts of emotions) of being fortunate enough to of had this surgery and feeling healthy after surgery. It feels good, feeling good. Did that make sense??? And because of my surgery, along with my diet and exercise it gave me a fighting chance.
