The past few weeks on and off I have been cleaning and going through stuff. I've cleaned out cupboards, closets and drawers. I am filling up plenty of garbage bags. I've been stacking my "don't fit anymore" pants in a pile after I wash them one more time. I've been taking some of my old clothes to a consignment store as they stack up. Some she takes and the rest go to Goodwill. I shared a few pair of my old pants with a co-worker today too. Anyway, when I was getting dressed today I am finding less and less pants that fit in my extra "stack". You know the old up, down keep my pants that don't fit anymore stack. We all have one or two stacks. Most of my extra pants "stack" were size 20-22 and a few 18 and once I squeezed into a pair of 16. I have one pair of 16 in my house. "Here goes nothing" I thought. Let just see how much weight I've lost and see how close I am into fitting into them. THEY FIT!!! How's that for cool. :)
So FACT: I am smaller then I have been in years and years. About 14-16 years ago I weighed 340+. Lost some weight and a few years later I did succeed in losing a 100 pounds, that was about 10-12 years ago. With all that hard work, I remembering writing down 220 once for a minute or three. LOL With all my diets and exercise over the years I've never got to a healthy weight. Lost weight- yes, healthier- yes, healthy weight no, skinny no (never). And 6 years ago or so I got into those jeans once and gained that weight back from my lowest of 220 back to 291, in time.
This is where healthy starts for me...and I'm looking forward to getting to know healthy!
