in the 40's

Going down... I lost 4 pounds this week! I'm at 248 today, down from 291 before surgery and down from 294 from December. Almost to my 50 pound mark.

We went to the movie last Sunday for Mothers Day. We went to go see Spiderman. So stopped by my work to get the candy for the movie. Yes, we sneak candy, popcorn and such into the movie, it's the only way we can afford to go. Anyway, I got a small box of DOTS. Remember those... Well lets just say the dots went right through me. LOL
Worked better than fiber. I didn't even eat a lot. I got about a quarter way down in the box and thought to myself "you better stop", so I put them under my chair and put them away. Oh I'd say 2-3 hours later, thank goodness we were home. Here come the Dot's................. Didn't make my tummy sick, just my butt... LOL

Anyway, that's enough sharing for this week.

Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy... Happy with the numbers going down. I've been trying to walk more. Just little things like parking farther away, walking with my family rather than sitting in the car. Just trying to think about it more and more. I am happy with my 4 pounds this week. All good here!

My Power Pancakes recipe I like once in awhile
1/2 cup low fat cottage cheese
4-5 egg whites
1/2 cup uncooked oatmeal
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 packets of equal
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend for 1 minute.
Cook like you would pancake batter. yum yum.
29 grams of carbs
35 grams of protein
5 grams of fat & 298 calories
Of course I can't eat the whole thing anymore, it makes 3 meals. I make one big pancake and put the rest in the fridge, but I like them cold too, and I eat them plain. Just 1/2 the recipe if you want.
I just thought I would share, cause loaded with protein & yummy.

Those pancakes sound yummy!
I laughed at your movie story...I went to the movies today and had a few bites of ice cream, my tummy was fine...but man did my toosh pay for it later!
